A Quick Example

Example 1)  You want to make 100ml of 140mM NaCl starting from crystals.

    (Follow the steps in the screen shot below.)

Step A: Type "NaCl" in the Chemical Name Box.
Step B: Click on Solid.
Step C: Enter the molecular weight of NaCl (58.44) in the MW box.
Step D: Click on Solution, enter 140 and select mM from the drop down list.
Step E: For Final Volume, enter 100 and select ml from the drop down list.
Step F: Click on the Calculate button and read the results in the Results box.
